Become certified in radiation safety to effectively support dentists in digital imaging processes. This course offers critical knowledge for ensuring patients receive the care they need. Course Description : 1.This beginner-level course is designed to help individuals obtain their California Dental X-Ray Certification, allowing them to perform dental X-rays in California. It is ideal for students with little to no prior experience in dental radiography. The course provides foundational knowledge and hands-on training to help students develop the skills necessary for success. 2.The course consists of four sessions, including lectures, hands-on practice, and personalized instruction to prepare students for real-world applications. 3.Lecture Sessions: Cover dental radiography principles and techniques, including safety protocols, activation of prior knowledge, and California state regulations. 4.Supervised Practice: Sessions using dental mannequins simulate real-world scenarios, enhancing confidence in performing X-ray procedures. 5.X-ray Practice: Students will practice taking dental X-rays with precision, focusing on proper positioning and exposure techniques. 6.One-on-One Instruction: Personalized teacher assistance is provided to address individual learning needs and refine techniques. Certification: At the end of the course, students will complete a final assessment. Upon successful completion, they will receive their California X-ray Certification, enabling them to perform dental X-rays in compliance with state requirements.
